After morning chores were dispatched I have spent my time filling 6 packs with a view to doing some transplanting after tea break. Its a bit to nice to be indoors but it's a job that needs to be done or seedlings may suffer.
Doc asked me a while back when do I take down the insulation in the greenhouses. Well a lot depends on the weather but I like to remove it as soon as possible so as to let in the light and also to aid ventilation on sunny days. This year I have just removed it from the cool house and if things carry on the way they are I will removed it from the hot house in the next couple of weeks.
Yesterday I had to remove a Laburnum tree which had been split a apart by Winter winds, also it was rotten at the base so I spent the day removing it and some Ivy from the wall as in places the Laburnum, Ivy and wall had become one.
